My first task as the Internal Creative Coordinator for Strata was to devise a new identity system and logo. Their best-selling product is the wall hugging futon, so I incorporated that into the logotype.
The identity system’s color palette can be easily applied across all POP materials and internal documents so the delicate logotype is easily readable.
Strata Furniture’s retailers also needed devices for product information. I created a full color catalog for their most established product line: futon frames. Over the years Strata began adding additional product lines with rotating items as they judged customer interest and sales. For these collections I created single-page customer handouts that could be easily updated and were more cost-effective for frequent changes.
Strata Furniture wanted to provide their retailers with large promotional displays, so I created a series of vinyl banners depicting the company’s philosophy, product photos and features.
Throughout my time at Strata Furniture, I created over 30 promotional and informational postcards that were mailed across the country to both current and prospective retailers.
Strata Furniture also required a new website. I used WordPress as a platform to create a simple site that will be easy to update for the owners and staff.
